Ahh, now here we have two of my very first pieces of art. These were inspired by a post from the old Anime Jump Big O board that I used to hang out on. The board has switched servers several times, so the original post has long since gone the way of the dodos. But I saved a copy to my harddrive, so here it is just in case anyone is curious:

                    If the show keeps getting popular, why not??

                    [Opening scene: Beck Victory Deluxe has surprisingly immobilized Big O's right arm in a
                    tightening grip.]

                    Roger: Yikes! [Struggling with the controls.] I'm feeling sluggishŠ

                    Beck [from his cockpit, his henchmen snickering]: What's the matter, crow boy? Out of
                    energy?

                    Norman [from small cockpit monitor inside Big O]: Master Roger?

                    Roger [still struggling]: Make it quick, Norman, I'm kinda busy, here.

                    Norman: You ran out this morning without eating again, so I packed something just in
                    case, Sir.

                    [panel moves toward Roger holding a cereal box and a bowl full ofŠ]

                    Roger [enthusiastically]: Big O's �! In action!!

                    Norman: The cereal fortified with the memories of eleven vitamins and minerals - an
                    unforgettable part of a balanced breakfast, if I may say so [as Norman speaks,
                    message scrolls on main cockpit monitor: "Cast In The Name Of Good, Yet Nutritious".
                    Cut to a suddenly hopped-up Roger finishing the last spoonful.]

                    Roger: Seems like the tables have turned! [Forcefully swings right lever all the way
                    back. Big O breaks free and with a windup of the arm, is ready to deliver the knockout
                    punch.]

                    Beck [to henchmen]: You idiots!! We gotta get outta here! [frantically, they work the
                    controls becoming quickly fatigued.]

                    Roger: IT'S SHOWTIME!!

                    [Big-O belts Beck Victory Deluxe in the face, demolishing its head. Cut to ground level:
                    Beck and henchmen land with a thud right in front of Dan Dastun's MP vehicles.]

                    Beck [tied up in wires, worn out and pathetically]: I wish I had a mega-breakfastŠ

                    Dan: Lock 'em up! [Paddy wagon doors slam on Beck. Cut to dining room table at
                    Roger's place.]

                    Norman: Would you care for a bowl, Miss Dorothy?

                    Dorothy: A little. I can't really taste it.

                    Roger [from the Big O]: Uh, she's talking about being an android and not about the
                    cereal, right Norman? [Seen in monitor, Norman shrugs.] (angrily): Norman!! [Big
                    sweatdrop appears sliding down the side of Roger's head.]

                    BG Vocals (to the opening theme): Big O's �! Big O's� Big O's�, NEW BIG O's�!!!

Of course, it's a lot funnier if you know the show in question, like I do. :) Anyway, I think these are still two of my favorite manips. My brother helped me a bit with the first one, especially with the making of the circles since I didn't know how to do that at the time. And some of the ideas on the second box cover were inspired by suggestions that other posters made on the Big O board.
